- (1) (f) Relevant information regarding illness and disabilities of children was not available in the child records provided for inspection. It is acknowledged that following the inspection an updated child record template with a specific section for this information was submitted to the Inspectorate on the 3 March 2026
Provider's corrective action:
- The service advised in writing that:
- Corrective and Preventive Action The child record template has been updated. The staff will ensure that all relevant information is recorded on the child record templates

- The child records required updating to include the following information: (i) Written consent from parents for medical treatment for their child in an emergency
Provider's corrective action:
- The service advised in writing that:
- Corrective and Preventive Action Written consent from parents for medical treatment has been added to the service enrolment forms in a clear manner

- Ten of the records sampled did not have a record of: (b) the date on which the child first attended the service (c) provision for the date on which the child ceased to attend the service. Three of the records sampled did not have a record of: (g) the name and telephone number of the child’s registered medical practitioner
Provider's corrective action:
- The records kept on file for the children attending the service have been updated to include the required information. The manager or deputy manager will oversee that all forms are completed correctly in the future

- (h) Three of the ten records examined did not contain the information required under this section
Provider's corrective action:
- The following statement from the provider was received from the provider on the 4th June 2025. All three families in question have been spoken to and again asked to produce evidence of vaccination status, we are currently waiting on same but have documented the dates of the conversations. We will insist that all immunisation records are completed in full going forward before the beginning of the school year
