- (1) On inspection the service was founded to be operating outside its registration status in respect of the age profile of the children registered as catering for aged between 2 years 6 months and 5 years. On the day of the inspection the service was catering for 1 child aged 16 months
Provider's corrective action:
- A Change in Circumstances (CIC) was submitted to change the age range of the children to under two years old. Upon further consideration the service withdrew the CIC application. The service has stated they will not provide care to children under the age of two years old. Should a decision in the future to change the age range of the children catered for the service will submit a CIC

- The service was found to be operating the unregistered extension to the creche. The registered provider had commenced the proposed change in circumstances process to inform the inspectorate of the additional space and an increase in the numbers of children to be accommodated in the service. However, the service was not sanctioned to operate the unregistered addition
Provider's corrective action:
- The proposed change in circumstances was applied for on June 5th 2024, awaiting on a visit to follow up on the request. There will be no further extensions to the building in the future

- (1) The registered provider failed to notify the Agency of the change in details of the designated person in charge, leading to incorrect information being recorded on Tusla’s National Register
Provider's corrective action:
- This inspection was unannounced and focused on the area of governance/ health, welfare and development of child, safety, premises and facilities. The inspection may also focus on other areas as required. Inspection findings are documented in the inspection report which is first issued in draft format to the service with an opportunity to respond to any findings. Where statutory requirements are identified as not being met, the registered provider must demonstrate how they have rectified the non-compliance and will prevent any non - compliance from re occurring. The Corrective Action and Preventive Action plan (CAPA) will be used to inform decisions about compliance with regulatory requirements. Where the registered provider fails to meet the statutory requirements an escalation process may be commenced. The inspectorate reserves the right to edit responses received for reasons including clarity, completeness and compliance with administrative and legal processes. The contents of the report are compiled by the inspectorate body. Acknowledgments The inspector wishes to acknowledge the cooperation of the person in charge, deputy person in charge, named persons, staff and children who were present on the day of the inspection

- (1) In conversation with the registered provider, at the introductory meeting, it was found that the service had not informed the Agency of a Change in Circumstances regarding timing of the morning session from the current registered time of 9.15 am until 12.15 pm to 9.00 am to 12 noon. Not ensuring this change had been updated on the national register does not allow for accurate service operations details to be retained and published by Tusla on the National Register
