Provider's corrective action:
  • The service has hired another full-time member of staff and are awaiting vetting. The registered provider has also introduced an emergency staff ration procedure and risk assessment, going forward. The registered provider will also use relief staff when necessary. The emergency staff ratio procedure and risk assessment will be applied when 2 staff are unable to attend

Provider's corrective action:
  • (1)and(2) One Child has moved to the preschool room reducing the ratio in the toddler room to 1:6. The child fully transitioned to this room on Friday 13/03/2026 and the decision was made in partnership with the child’s parents, following careful consideration and review of the child’s stage of development. The ratio in the preschool room is now 22:2. The registered provider is continually striving to recruit new additional staff members. The service will reduce the number of childcare places for next year should it be unable to fill positions to ensure sufficient staffing levels are within compliance requirements to meet the needs of all children

  • 1. A whole nursery approach will be adapted to ensure short breaks are covered efficiently to ensure ratio’s are kept correct at all times. All staff breaks are on the team rota and cover is added for all breaks
