- In the Ladybird room children’s drinks were not accessible and were stored in the fridge
Provider's corrective action:
- Where drinks had previously been stored in the fridge in the Ladybird Room, they are now stored outside of the fridge and are fully accessible for the children at their level. Educators in all rooms have been advised that drinks need to be accessible to children at all times. Daily room checks will be conducted by management to ensure that this procedure is implemented in practice

- General Safety: • Garda vetting was available for 1 staff member. However, the vetting disclosures was not dated within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’
Provider's corrective action:
- General Safety: Corrective & Preventive Action Garda vetting has been reapplied for the staff member and received; a copy was sent to the early years inspector. The manager will keep a list and be aware who is due for garda vetting renewal before it expires
