Regulation 22 — Food and drink
- General Safety: • Garda vetting was available for 1 staff member. However, the vetting disclosures was not dated within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’
Provider's corrective action:
- General Safety: Corrective & Preventive Action Garda vetting has been reapplied for the staff member and received; a copy was sent to the early years inspector. The manager will keep a list and be aware who is due for garda vetting renewal before it expires
Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- (1)(b) A record of the number, type and maintenance of the firefighting equipment and smoke alarms in the premises was not available for inspection
Provider's corrective action:
- Corrective & Preventive Action Fire extinguishers and smoke alarm serviced following inspection. Annual maintenance of fire fighting equipment and smoke alarms will be carried out
Found compliant: Regulation 9, 11, 19, 20, 24, 25, 28.
