Regulation 25 — First aid
- (1) No staff member working in the service on Mondays had current First Aid Responder (FAR) training. Although it is acknowledged that 1 staff member had current FAR training, this staff member only worked from Tuesday to Friday. One staff member with current FAR training must be always available to the children on the premises while the service is in operation
Provider's corrective action:
- One staff member has completed FAR training on the 06/06/2023.The registered provider will ensure that a staff member with FAR training is present on the premises at all times during the hours of operation
Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- (1)(b) The mains powered smoke alarm did not have an up-to-date servicing record
Provider's corrective action:
- (1)(b) The mains powered smoke alarm was serviced on the 21/06/23. The registered provider will ensure that the smoke alarm system is serviced on an annual basis
