Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: The Garda vetting disclosures available for two of the adults were not dated within the previous three years, in adherence to the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- The written reply stated that the service applied for Garda vetting renewal in respect of the two staff. As a preventive measure, the service administrator has entered monthly reminder dates regarding training and Garda vetting into the calendar and is now utilising a document to record important dates for each staff member
