Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety, and welfare of child
- General Safety 1. Garda vetting was available for seventeen staff members. However, the renewal date for six staff members of the vetting disclosures was not dated within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. It is acknowledged that on the 13th of March 2024, the registered provider submitted evidence that application process for Garda vetting for the six staff had commenced
Provider's corrective action:
- On the 17th of April 2024, the registered provider advised of the following; Corrective and Preventive Action Going forward staff will be vetting within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’
