Regulation 9 — Management and recruitment

  • (2)(d) International Police vetting was not available for a second adult employed who had lived outside the jurisdiction for more than six consecutive months as an adult
Provider's corrective action:
  • The employee has followed up with the relevant authorities in the country in question and is awaiting a response. Police Vetting for all new employees who have worked/lived abroad for more than 6 months will be sought before issuing a contract of employment

  • (1)(b), (c) and (h). The required information pertaining to (b), (c) and (h) was not available in the ten files examined
Provider's corrective action:
  • (1)(b) & (c)Date child started and ended attending the service is now recorded. This information has been added to the child’s information form. (h) Email sent to current parents requesting the vaccinations record for their child. The pre-school information sheet has been updated to include the required information
