- (2)(d) On review of the staff files, police vetting was not available for one staff member who had resided outside of the jurisdiction for a period longer than six months
Provider's corrective action:
- Polie vetting was applied for and received by the registered provider. They stated that they have developed a recruitment checklist, which will be used when employing new staff members. This form includes the requirement for police vetting if a person has resided outside of the jurisdiction for a period longer than six months and they stated that this checklist will act as a reminder to ensure a thorough recruitment process has been applied
