Regulation 25 — First aid
- There were no staff trained in FAR available to the children attending the preschool service. The registered provider demonstrated evidence that FAR training was booked for the staff. It is acknowledged that the two staff were trained in Paediatric first aid
Provider's corrective action:
- The registered provider submitted the following response: Corrective and Preventive Action A staff member was enrolled in FAR Training and has commenced the FAR training. Written reminders are now in the preschool diary and phone for renewal of the FAR training. The designated person was also informed and aware of the expiry date
