Immediate action notice. 28/06/2024 An Immediate Action Notice was issued under Regulation 9(2)(c), a mandatory vetting disclosure was not available for 2 adults working in the service contrary to the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012.
Immediate action notice. 02/07/2024 An Immediate Action Notice Final Reminder Notice for Garda Vetting was issued on the 02/07/2024 as no response had been received from the registered provider.

(2)(c) Garda vetting disclosures were not available in respect of the 2 adults. An immediate action was issued to the registered providers on the 28/06/2024 and a reminder notice was issued on 02/07/2024

Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
General Safety: 1. Garda vetting was available for all 5 staff members, however for 1 of the adult their vetting disclosures were not dated within the previous three years in adherence to the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. 2. Preschool children’s grapes were not quartered or halved at snack time by adults which may pose as a choking hazard for a preschool child. General Safety: 1. Up to date Garda vetting has been sourced and submitted to the Early Years Inspectorate. In future we will ensure that garda vetting is in date. 2. All staff has been informed and a letter issue to parents to ensure that grapes are quartered. We will ensure in future that grapes are quartered
