Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: 1. The water temperature at the wash hand basin in both the care room and the children’s sanitary accommodation was above the maximum safe limit of 43°C. The running water in the sanitary accommodation measured 44.8°C and in the care room was 44.6°C. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- 1. Immediate corrective measures have been taken to address this issue. The services maintenance team has adjusted the water heating systems to ensure that the water temperature is within the recommended safe range
