Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General safety: Garda vetting disclosures for three staff members were not dated within the previous three years in adherence to the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- General safety: Garda vetting had been reapplied for two of the staff members prior to inspection but had not been received back by the service. Garda vetting for one staff member has been applied for following the inspection. A new filing system has been implemented to ensure that vetting is completed on time. Calander reminders have also been set for Garda vetting reapplication dates
