Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- Infection Control: • On the day of inspection, there was no pedal operated nappy disposal bin as is required. The nappy disposal unit was a sealed touch bin, which was not permissible due to infection control issues. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- Infection Control: • The registered provider responded on 9 February to state that a new nappy bin was now in place and the service will endeavour to maintain up to date with requirements regarding safe storage and disposal of soiled nappies
