Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- (1)(b) There was no record available to show that the fire extinguisher provided in the service had been approved and appropriately serviced by a person with expertise in fire safety. Instead, the registered provider purchased a new fire extinguisher on an annual basis and maintained records of checking it herself on a monthly basis
Provider's corrective action:
- The registered provider stated the following corrective actions and preventive actions have been carried out: Corrective Action (1)(b) A trained person service d the fire extinguisher on 23/05/2024 and the maintenance certificate was immediately forwarded to the Inspectorate. Preventive Action (1)(b) The fire extinguishers will be serviced annually
