Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- (1)(a) There were no fire drills practised in the preschool service since it re- opened in September 2025.The records demonstrated that the fire drills were practised in June and March of 2025 and were not carried out every month the service was in operation. (4) The fire procedure notice setting out the procedures to follow in the event of a fire was not displayed in the service. The non-compliances posed a risk to the safety of children and staff attending the service in the event of an emergency
Provider's corrective action:
- : The registered provider has stated that:
- Fire drills were practised on the 6th of November the day after the inspection and the 4th of December 2025
- The fire notice setting out the procedure to follow in the event of a fire was displayed in a conspicuous area of the service
