Regulation 25 — First aid
- 1 The inspectors noted that no staff members on the day of inspection held an in date FAR certificate. In the event of an accident or injury occurring to a child, this posed a safety risk to the children
Provider's corrective action:
- 1. Two staff members have completed first aid. FAR training was booked for the 12th December 2024. The service plans to check staff files each term, and to stagger booking of first aid for staff to ensure a up to date trained staff member is present at all times
