Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety, and welfare of child
- General Safety 1. Garda vetting was available for the five staff, but the date was >3yrs for one of these staff members. The one vetting disclosure was not dated within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. It is acknowledged that on the 22nd of May 2024, the person in charge submitted evidence that application process for Garda vetting for the one staff member had commenced
Provider's corrective action:
- On the 29th of May and 25th of June 2024, the person in charge advised of the following; Corrective and Preventive Action 1. We will be keeping up to date with changes on a regular basis and check garda vetting and other requirements as they change
