Immediate action notice. 10th October 2024 An immediate action notice was issued to the registered provider on the 10th of October as the 2 staff members present in the service on the 9th of October did not have the First Aid response training. 11th October 2024 The registered provider has stated in her response that the deputy person in charge was booked in for First Aid response training to commence in December 2024.

Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
Infection Control: 1.There was no hot water in the bathroom facilities for the children and adults and at the wash hand basin in the playroom for effective handwashing. The increased the risk of cross infection. 2. A hand operated bin was in place instead of the pedal operated bin in the bathroom facility for the hygienic disposable of waste. Regulation 25 — First aid
(1) On day 1 of inspection, the 2 staff member present with 8 preschool children had no training in first aid for children or First aid responder training. An immediate action notice was issued to the registered provider on the 10th of October as the 2 staff members present in the service on the 9th of October did not have the First Aid response training. The registered provider has stated in her response that the deputy person in charge was booked in for First Aid response training to commence in December 2024

: The registered provider has stated in the response that: (1) The staff are due to commence the First Aid response training on the new date which is the 21st of November for 3 days. The registered provider is present in the service each day. The registered provider will ensure that the First Aid response training will be renewed within the appropriate time frame
