It is acknowledged that staff members trained in paediatric first aid were working on the day of the inspection - (1) Another fulltime member of staff has since completed FAR training to ensure cover in place at all times in case a staff member has to be absent due to unforeseen circumstances. (b) A suitably equipped first aid box for children was not available to the adults caring for the children attending the service as there were no bandages and paramedic shears available - (a) The box was removed from its original place at the time of the construction works of the second toilet and is now being attached to a new designed place with the correct sign to be accessible to the staff.
