2026-09-11 — Creche Inspection Reports (https://creche-inspection-reports.pages.dev) has read the published Tusla Early Years Inspectorate reports of 4,400 registered creches and pre-schools and put what inspectors found — regulation by regulation, next to each provider's corrective action — on one page per service.

Figures

• 2,510 of 4,346 services (57.8 %) had at least one non-compliance in their latest report we read.
• 826 immediate action notices appear in the reports, concerning 605 services.
• 4 services have conditions attached to their registration.
• Most frequent non-compliances: Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child (1,969); Regulation 9 — Management and recruitment (1,136); Regulation 29 — Premises (396).

Why it matters

No creche is required to tell parents what its last inspection found. Tusla publishes every report, but in a search tool with no page per service, as PDFs of a dozen pages each.

Caveats

An inspection records one day; most findings are corrected, and each provider's response is shown alongside. No personal data is published (no childminders, no contact names).
