##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child

- The service did not demonstrate compliance with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice requiring services to re-new Garda vetting every 3 years for the emergency contact person. There were Garda vetting disclosures on file for the registered provider and the emergency contact person. However, the vetting disclosures for the emergency contact person was not dated within the previous 3 years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda vetting. Action submitted by the Registered Provider

- The registered provider has submitted evidence that they have commenced the revetting process for the emergency contact person. The registered provider will forward the Garda vetting to the inspector once received. he

##### Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures

- There was no record in writing available of the annual maintenance of the smoke alarm in the service

- A record in writing of the annual maintenance of the smoke alarm is now available on file in the service. The smoke alarm was last serviced in January 2024. The registered provider will ensure the annual maintence of the smoke alarm in the service is carried out annually in the future. Summary Comment The response and evidence submitted is satisfactory to meet the requirements of the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016
