Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- There were no records available to demonstrate that annual maintenance of the fire fighting equipment and the smoke alarm system had taken place
Provider's corrective action:
- A company was contacted immediately, and service of the fire extinguishers was carried out promptly on 16/02/2026. A company performed a routine fire service and inspection. All devices were tested and batteries were replaced in the fire panel. A fire maintenance company have agreed to schedule service of the fire extinguishers annually every August. Emergency lighting and fire panel maintenance and checks will also be carried out annually each August in future
