##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child

- General safety: 1. There was no toilet seat cover present in one of the children’s sanitary facilities located in Preschool room 1. This posed a risk of injury to the child Infection control: 2. The toilet paper in one of the children’s sanitary facilities in Preschool room 1 was stored on the floor of the bathroom. This posed a risk of cross infection to the child. Action submitted by the Registered Provider

- General safety: 1. The registered provider installed a new toilet seat cover to the sanitary facility in Preschool room 1. The registered provider will conduct monthly risk assessments on the sanitary facilities. Infection control: 2. Toilet paper holders have been installed in the sanitary facilities. The registered provider will complete regular checks of the sanitary facilities ensuring everything is in working order
