Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: • Garda vetting was available for one adult. However, this vetting disclosure was not dated within the previous three years in adherence to the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- General Safety: • In the written response received the registered provider stated that the required updated processed Garda vetting record for one adult was now on file in the service. A Garda vetting compliance checklist is now maintained in the service with the names of all adults associated with the service with expiration dates of garda vetting for each person recorded. There is now a monitoring system in place to ensure Garda vetting has been applied and returned to the service prior to expiratory dates
