Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- (1) (a)While there was a record of fire drills in the setting, there was no monthly drill in November 2023 or February 2024. (b) There was no recent record of the maintenance of the fire extinguishers and smoke alarms, to indicate annual or more often servicing. The records dated to 12 October 2022
Provider's corrective action:
- (1)(a) The registered provider advised that monthly fire drills will be maintained. (1)(b) The registered provider advised that the fire extinguishers and smoke alarms were serviced subsequent to inspection and will be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
