##### Regulation 9 — Management and recruitment

- (2)(d) Police vetting was not available for 1 staff member who had resided outside the jurisdiction for a period of more than 6 consecutive months as an adult

- Corrective Action Police vetting has been sought for this staff member and submitted it to the Inspectorate on the 15th September 2025. Preventive Action Management will review the staff folders more frequently but also will be more mindful in reviewing CV’s and identify staff who have worked aboard for a period of time to comply with police vetting

- (2)(a) Two validated references were not available for one staff member and a second reference was not available for one staff member. (d) Police vetting was not available for one staff member who had lived outside the jurisdiction for more than six months

- Corrective Action (2)(a) Two validated references for one member of staff checked and provided. Second reference for staff member checked and provided. (d)Police vetting received and submitted to the Inspectorate. Preventive Action 2(a) (d)To ensure all staff commencing employment have the correct documentation in line with the regulation. ##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child

- General Safety: Garda vetting was available for 16 staff members. However, these vetting disclosures were not dated within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’

- General Safety: Corrective Action: 16 Garda Clearances required to be updated, we have received 12 Garda Clearances to date, and we have a further four in progress. Preventive Action: Reminder to check up on every Garda Clearance in the documentation to ensure every staff member is in date in line with the regulation. Documentation attached 12 Garda Clearance
