Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: An outdoor structure in the main outdoor play area was located close to the boundary wall. This created a narrow pathway where children could collide with the capping on the wall and sustain injury. The children were observed trying to run through this area during the inspection. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- General Safety: A fence and gate have been installed to prevent the children accessing behind the outdoor shelter. This will prevent any issues occurring in the future
Found compliant: Regulation 9, 11, 15, 19, 25, 26, 28.
