Inspection of 11 May 2023 — Inspection Report
Immediate action notice. An Immediate Action notice was given to the registered provider for increased water temperatures in the sanitary accommodation sink. A response was received on the 12th May with measures taken to ensure the temperature does not exceed 430 C which was accepted by the Inspectorate.
Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: Water temperatures in the children sanitary accommodation were excessive and recorded at 60.30C. The registered provider was notified immediately, and all children were accompanied to the toilet for the remainder of the day. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
- All children were accompanied to the toilet for the remainder of the day Thursday May 11th. Existing Tap was replaced by a new thermostatic tap over on May 11th and was available for use when pre-school opened on Friday May 12th. Summary Comment The response from the registered provider has been accepted as it addressed the non-compliance in Regulation 23, photographic evidence of the thermostatic tap was received by the inspectorate
