- Infection Control: 1. The covering on the couches in the naionra room were torn exposing the inner foam which could not be adequately cleaned. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- Infection Control: 1. The torn couch in the Naíonra room has been removed from use and replaced with new couch with wipeable, non-porous coverings, suitable for infection control. A daily check of all furniture and equipment has been added to our infection control routine. Any item that is damaged or no longer fit for purpose will be removed immediately and replaced. Staff have been instructed to report any damage as soon as it is identified to ensure prompt action
