#### Inspection of 24 June 2026 — Inspection Report

##### Regulation 9 — Management and recruitment

- 1(a)(b) There were not the required two validated references from a past employer or a reputable source on file for two staff members. (3) The procedures specified in paragraph (2) were not carried out prior to any person being appointed, assigned or allowed access to or contact with a child attending the pre-school service

- The registered provider stated the following in their reply Corrective and Preventive Action The required references were not accessible on the day of inspection but are now printed and stored in the staff file

##### Regulation 11 — Staffing levels

- On the day of inspection on review of the daily staff roster, it indicated that there were not the required two adults on the premises at all times during the operation hours of the services. The roster for the week of the 22/06/26, indicated that there was only 1 staff member on the premises, between 08:00 and 08:30 each day. The children attendance records indicated there were 2 children signed in to the service each day between 08:15 and 08:30

- The registered provider stated the following in their reply: Corrective and Preventive Action We will ensure to have two members of staff are on the premises at all times during the operational hours of the service
