Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: 1. Garda vetting was available, but the date was greater than 3 years for one staff member. This vetting disclosure was not dated within the previous 3 years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
Provider's corrective action:
- General Safety: A copy of the renewed garda vetting disclosure dated 20/01/2025 was submitted to the Inspectorate
Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- (b) Records of the annual servicing by a competent person, in relation to the premises smoke and fire detection system were not completed since installation of a new fire detection system in August 2023
Provider's corrective action:
- A certificate of maintenance servicing of the fire detection system was submitted to the Inspectorate with a service date of 22/01/2025
