Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
- General Safety: One adult’s garda vetting disclosure was not dated within the previous three years in adherence with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’. This poses a risk to the safety of the children in the service. Action submitted by the Registered Provider

- General Safety: The registered provider has a vetting checklist now to ensure vetting timeframes are met going forward
Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures
- 1(b) There was no record to show that the firefighting equipment had been serviced, or that maintenance of the fire detection and alarm system had been carried out. (2)(c) The records were not available for inspection
Provider's corrective action:
- The registered providers submitted evidence of quarterly servicing of the fire detection systems and annual servicing of firefighting equipment. The registered providers will ensure that documents are filed for access for inspection by authorised persons

- (1)(3) The registered provider failed to notify the Early Years Inspectorate of a change in hours of operation from 08:30 – 13:30hrs to the current operating hours of 09:00- 14:00hrs
Provider's corrective action:
- The registered provider has made an application to regularise the change in opening hours to comply with the regulation and will ensure all change in circumstance applications are submitted in a timely manner
