General Safety: Garda vetting was available for 1 staff member. However, the vetting disclosures was not dated within the previous three years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’

Provider's corrective action:

Corrective & Preventive Action General Safety: Corrective Action Garda Vetting was renewed for the member of staff that was not dated within the previous 3 years. It is currently on file since the 1st of October 2025. A copy of Garda Renewal vetting has been updated and is enclosed with CAPA Form as proof. Preventive Action: The manager will check all staff files to ensure that they have will have Renewal of Garda Vetting carried out prior to their 3 years’ time line in adherence with the Early Years Inspectorate Notice EYI-RN12.3

Found compliant: Regulation 9, 11, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28.

Infection Control: In the sanitary facilities off the Sticky Fingers care room there was a foul odour and staining around the base of the toilets

Provider's corrective action:

Corrective Action A seal was put down at the base of both toilets to prevent odour seeping up from the pipes under them. Preventive Action Seals checked for cracks on all toilets monthly, if odours are noticed due to broken seals at any time management will address immediately
