The carpenter will create a new mud kitchen ##### Regulation 25 — First aid - (1) The registered provider did not ensure that a person trained in first aid for children was, always, immediately available to the children attending the service. From 9:20 to 9:55, no staff member trained in first aid responder training was available on site until the register provider arrived at the service. It is acknowledged that a staff member did have recently expired basic first aid - A Staff member has enrolled and completed a FAR Course. An up-to-date Cert will be displayed, and the service will ensure that going forward that a person with FAR is always on site Found compliant: Regulation 9, 11, 24, 27, 28. #### Inspection of 10 May 2024 — Inspection Report Full report (PDF, Tusla) ##### Regulation 9 — Management and recruitment - (2) (d) A basic disclosure and not the required international child protection certificate was provided for one adult who had lived outside the state for a period of six consecutive months - The registered provider in a written response proposed the following action: Corrective and Preventive Action The correct required international child protection certificate has been applied for. A basic disclosure will not suffice in future. The correct required international child protection certificate will be applied for ##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child - General Safety: 1. The service did not provide an adequate nappy changing unit, resulting in staff members using a changing mat on the floor to change the children. This poses a manual handling risk to staff. Action submitted by the Registered Provider In a written response the registered provider proposed the following actions: - General Safety: 1. The child in question is potty trained but the staff members were not informed. There are no other children in nappies currently.
