Fire Safety: 1. An Immediate Action Notice was issued on 22 January 2024 as there were no up to date maintenance records available for the fire fighting equipment and no maintenance records available for the smoke alarm system. Maintenance of the fire fighting equipment had last taken place on 16 January 2023. There were no maintenance records for the fire detection and alarm system. The registered provider submitted a response on 22 January 2024 which was deemed to satisfactorily address this non-compliance. Action submitted by the Registered Provider

Provider's corrective action:

Fire Safety: A company was called to our Preschool at the earliest appointment of 25/01/24 and carried out a maintenance check service report on all our smoke/heat detectors. The company also updated all fire extinguishers and fire blanket and issued 2 service certificates. Our monthly fire drill forms now include ‘Annual Maintenance Inspection of smoke & heat detectors’ which will need to contain the annual date of our next due maintenance service date
