Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child
Infection Control: 1. Two bins in use by the service were not pedal operated posing a risk of transmission of infection. The bins had open tops and were observed with waste inside. Administration of Medication: 2. Documentation, procedures and practices in place for children attending the service requiring emergency medication were inadequate, posing a potential risk to the health and safety of children. There was no documented care plan available for one child attending the service who required emergency medication. Action submitted by the Registered Provider
