(e)There was a persistent malodour in the Toddler toilet room on day of inspection The wall of this room in one area at child height was damp to touch and a visible hole was in another area of the wall. The registered provider when asked stated there was a history of a water leak in this area. She was advised not to use this children’s toilet facility until issue was rectified. In the meantime, an alternate children’s toilet located nearby was recommended for use by the children that were in attendance in the Toddler Room. The daily check sheet is a plan to ensure staff complete checks throughout the day and sign off once completed.
