#### Inspection of 23 February 2026 — Inspection Report

##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child

- General Safety: The following increased the potential safety risk to the children while attending the service: 1. The children had access to beaded cords, 10 cm in length, which attached one vertical window blind to another. The beaded cords were lying on the windowsills which were located at child height in the playroom. Due to potential safety risks associated with blind cords, children shall have no access to loose cords in early years services. Infection Control: 2. Even though there was a fridge in the premise. It was observed that the perishable foods provided by parents and guardians for the children’s mid-morning snack were not refrigerated prior to consumption, which increased the risk of food spoilage and foodborne illness to a child. Action submitted by the Registered Provider

- In the written response, the following was stated by the registered provider.beaded cord at the end the General Safety: 1. The loose beaded cord at the end of the vertical window blinds, lying on one of the windowsills in the playroom has for safety reasons been removed. Infection Control: 2. To reduce the risk of food spoilage of perishable foods, the children’s lunch boxes are now stored on a daily basis, in the fridge, on the children arrival to the service

##### Regulation 26 — Fire safety measures

- (1) (b) The fire alarm was serviced on 3 September 2021 and following inspection was serviced on 16 November 2023. There was no record of a fire alarm service for 2022

- The registered provider responded to state that the fire alarm was serviced on 16 November 2023 and the fire safety policy was updated to include twice annual servicing of the fire alarm system
