#### Inspection of 23 March 2026 — Inspection Report

##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child

- General Safety: 1. Three large plastic containers containing art and Montessori materials were observed stacked on top of each other on a low-level cabinet. This posed a potential injury risk to children. 2. The temperature reducing medication available had expired in February 2025 posing a potential safety risk in the event it was required by a child attending the service. Infection Control: 3. It was observed that children’s hands were not washed with soap and water prior to snack or lunch being eaten. Action submitted by the Registered Provider

- General Safety: 1.The 3 large plastic containers have been taken off the low cabinet and placed them on the floor instead. Have notified staff that the boxes are safer on the floor. 2. Disposed of out-of-date medication and purchased in date medication of which i emailed receipt same day to Tusla inspector as promised. The registered provider has added a monthly check list to our first aid box check list so we are reminded every month to check the dates on the bottles. Infection Control: 3. Staff now send children to the bathroom to wash hands properly with soap and water. Informed staff of the change in routine with regard to hand washing
