Infection Control: 1. There was no thermostatically controlled hot water in the wash hand basin in the nappy changing room designated for the babies in the Caterpillar room. This would impede effective hand washing increasing the risk of cross infection. 2. Some of the bins in the toilet facilities were not lidded and were not foot operated pedal bins therefore increasing the potential risk of cross infection. Action submitted by the Registered Provider In the corrective and preventative response (CAPA) received from the person in charge the following was stated:
