#### Inspection of 31 July 2025 — Inspection Report

##### Regulation 9 — Management and recruitment

- (2) (d) One of 5 adults who lived and worked in a state other than this state while over the age of 18 years for longer than 6 months did not have the required police vetting available on inspection. (4) One adult working directly with the preschool children, did not show evidence of the following: − A minimum award in Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) at a Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications, in Early Childhood Care and Education or a qualification deemed by the Minister to be equivalent

- On 10/09/2025 the registered provider advised of the following Corrective and Preventive Action (2) (d) Police vetting has been obtained for the 1 adult who did not have the required police vetting on the day of inspection. All staff files will be reviewed thoroughly going forward and the required police vetting will be obtained for any staff who lived or worked in a state for longer than 6 months over the age of 18 years. (4) An application was sent to the DCEDIY for early years recognition for 1 adult who was working directly with the preschool children

##### Regulation 23 — Safeguarding health, safety and welfare of child

- General Safety: 1. Garda vetting was available for 16 adults in total. However, 1 vetting disclosure was not dated within the previous 3 years in adherence to with the Early Years Inspectorate Regulatory Notice ‘EYI-RN12.3 Renewal of Garda Vetting’ Action submitted by the Registered Provider On the 10/09/2025 the registered provider advised of the following

- General Safety: An application was submitted for garda vetting. All staff files will be reviewed in the future and garda vetting will be renewed for all staff within the recommended timeframes
